Last Updated 3rd Feb 2022:
All of our tutors, contractors and volunteers are vaccinated. Although masks for tutors are still optional (at Jan 2022) for educational sites, we will be encouraging our tutors to wear masks to protect themselves and our students from being susceptible to Covid-19 and will update this information as required by the government.
Parents and Carers attending our studio need not be vaccinated but will still need to comply with COVID safe measures, including wearing a mask, sanitizing, signing in and keeping 1.5m distance from members outside of your family/care unit. If the student feels comfortable, we would encourage parents and carers to go for a walk during session to minimize contact with other people attending the Studio.
Singing Lesson Rules
As per our Covid Safe Plan dated 28th January 2022, singing without a mask is allowed in an educational establishment and if the singers are undertaking or providing an individual lesson.
Maintaining good hygiene standards is a critical way to reduce the risk of infection.
Time in between lessons will be provided to sanitize tutoring stations.
All students and tutors are encouraged to:
-
wash their hands regularly, particularly after using the toilet and before eating
-
avoid spreading infections to others by staying home if they are unwell
-
cover a cough or sneeze with a tissue.
SA Health encourages parents to provide children with their own personal, labelled and named drink water bottles.
